According to a report by Digital Trends, on Wednesday, President Donald Trump claimed that the US government 'should be suing Google and Facebook.'
In an interview on Fox Business, Trump reportedly claimed that Google is trying to rig the 2020 election
while also accusing Twitter of making it more difficult for users on its platform to find and follow the president's account.
In July, Trump reportedly said that he will host a social media summit with leaders of big tech companies, including those he has already called out.
The comments by Trump come shortly after the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission moved to scrutinize Apple, Amazon, Facebook and Google on antitrust grounds,
which potentially means an investigation could be underway.
